Comments
Comments: A great point to point trip (approximately 8.5 miles) for a family or a group of people looking to enjoy a day in the white mountains and knock off a 4,000 footer. Our group ranged from ages 6-40+. All in the group have been putting in regular time on trails in the white mountains and surrounding areas in the north country this summer so it made the trip a lot more enjoyable. The first half mile or so of the A-Z trail from Zealand Trail is starting to choke out the trail so plan to get wet and or scratched if taking this route unless you are a ninja like the 6-year old who could walk under it! Some of this trail is also wet and muddy where you will have to get your feet wet until it dries up some more. Lots of frogs and spider webs according to the leader of the hike.
