Comments
Comments: A beautiful early morning hike up Garfield to meet a friend who was backpacking a section of the ridge.

This route was a mix of dry, wet, and muddy trails. The most mud was along Garfield Trail. Also some running/standing water. Overall though, not too bad.

We dropped down to the campsite to refill water and holy crow that's a steep drop to get down there. The caretaker sign indicated they were in but there was no one there.

Lots of thru-hikers out today enjoying the summit as well.

When I arrived on top around 9:40 there was still plenty of sun but the forecast was spot on as clouds rolled in later.
