Trail Maintenance Notes: A few larger blowdowns on Stony Brook that can be stepped over/ducked under. Lots of failed waterbars and unmitigated erosion unfortunately.

Bugs: Occasional black flies and mosquitoes, but not terrible.

Comments: Trails had already dried out fairly nicely. Mudpits in the usual places, but otherwise generally drying out well with the plentiful sun.

Nice summer day with temperatures making it into the low 80s under mostly sunny skies. Still some humidity, but not as bad as recent weeks.
