Deer flies were vexing at times. |

Trail was generally dry, except for the mudpit near the logging clearing. Trail prior to that section is quite grassy; amazed not to find any ticks as of yet.
Nice partly sunny afternoon with temperatures in the 70s, reduced humidity, and no noticeable Canadian smoke. |
