 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Got a yell for parking at Lowe's store, despite no signs saying not to, so we parked at the Castle TH and walked the path over. 0.8 added on each end but it was fine. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All doable. The lower stretches of the trail, closest to the rec path, was actually the worst in terms of getting the shoes wet. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Incredible water bars, always apparent trail, 10/10! |

Went Lowes-King-Spur-Lowes. Probably would redo in reverse, as even though Lowes and Spur are steep, Lowes was much looser!
Both camps along the way were stunning, spring flowing nice and cold in between the two of them. Worth the stop.
10.5 miles with a bit over 4K gain, awesome day!
Blog post down yonder. |
