Comments
Comments: Water, water everywhere. Every trail has running or standing water. Had this loop on my bucket list for a while. Stream crossings on Flume Slide are tricky, no way you stay dry, but you won’t anywhere else, either. Flume Slide was wet and slick, but super fun nonetheless! A little hazy due to wildfire smoke in the morning, but cleared out by mid day. Saw about 20 people on the trails. Great chatting with Pemi Looper Lindsay, Day Hiker Chris, and Thru Hiker Swanson. Tagged Flume with my pal B Mitch for his 45th.
