 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I was the only car there at 6:30AM. When I finished at ~1PM there were some open spaces but also several cars parked on the road. |
|
 | Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All water crossings were do-able but high enough that I wound up wading across. Water came up to mid-calf. Some of the water is running fast at high volume so be careful! |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw two happy dogs. |

 | Bugs: |
Some swarming gnattish bugs. I don't think I saw any mosquitos. Only got one bite with no bug spray or net. |

 | Comments: |
Everything is very lush and green and beautiful. The downside is that the river crossings are all quite high and (I thought) the 5 major ones required some level of wading. Once I started wading, I just walked across most of the rivers which was a lot faster than trying to carefully find dry routes. The trail was a little bit overgrown and sometimes difficult to follow once it gets closer to the mountains. |
