Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: All cars found a spot today at the Greeley Ponds trailhead lot. I was the second car at 8 am. When I returned in the afternoon there were about 6 or 7 cars. Easy to find the lot right on the Kanc.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant
Recommended Equipment

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There was more water than usual but all crossings were rock hops with mostly dry shoes.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blow downs. No big deal on Mount Osceola Trail but there were a few blow downs near the first pond that were large and causing a new trail to form around the tree. Certain bog boards were unstable and deteriorated.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I saw one happy dog who looked like an experienced hiker.
Bugs
Bugs: Very minor bugs today. What a relief.

Comments
Comments: What a delightful trail heading about a mile along many small streams and brooks on a relatively flat valley trail to the juncture. Then upwards towards the sky on a somewhat steep and mega rocky Mount Osceola Trail. I loved the big rocks. Although it was a good workout, the overall distance was short and the humidity was lower today. The overall experience was superb. The summit of East Osceola is a cairn in the woods. But there were marvelous views at various lookouts near the top.
