Sarge had a blast. With the consistent rain there is plenty of water to drink or cool off in along the way until Tuckerman Junction. Above that there is no water the last 0.6 miles until the summit. Rocks are pretty smooth on this route so experienced hiking dogs should have no problems. I would suggest getting out early so they don't run into any chances of overheating. |

 | Comments: |
All trails are clear of blowdowns. Below treeline is a little slippery in spots but the majority of these trails are pretty grippy right considering the amount of rain that has fallen. Southside trail is the only trail that definitely was more greasy with some caution needed with foot placement.
Remanence of the fallen snow arch in The Bowl gone for good today, Sarge ate the last piece of snow remaining at the base of the waterfall.
Got an early start to beat the heat and crowds and was rewarded with fantastic views and one very happy dog! |
