 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Lots of crossings down low- water was higher than normal due to recent rain so I wore crocs for all crossings more than 5 feet wide. Water was too high to rock hop. |

 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were in great shape. Bee Line cutoff has 2 large trees down forming a large X right at the start. You can't go over or under them. Also, on the bottom of Bee Line (Paugus side) there is a large swampy area with a large tree to help get you across. The tree is totally rotten and in fact, it broke in one section as I was starting across. It will probably still be ok to cross on for a while, but I think another solution may be needed in the near future. The area looks like you could sink in very deep if you tried to walk through the water. |

 | Comments: |
Lovely day and had the summit to myself- a first! Upper section of Old Paugus has some areas where trail turns into a small stream, and slabs were wet, but all in all it was a fairly dry trail. The only other thing to mention is going up the gully, gaia looked like the trail turned the sharp right in a very sketchy area, but I kept going a little further and discovered the cairn to the right just beyond where gaia showed the turn. |
