 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns (2 beech, one limby hemlock) in first mile, people have been walking around them on soft steep slopes spreading erosion problem. One or two blowdowns in second mile. Lots and lots of erosion on this trail, losing some parts of trail up high on steep slopes, much worse than when I last hiked this a year ago. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Fine for dogs, plenty of water right now. A few erosion spots may be hard for little pups to navigate. |
|
 | Bugs: |
A couple blackflies down low, otherwise not bad. |

 | Comments: |
Lots of water on the trail, both channelized and puddling. Some mud pits, mostly avoidable.
Lots of fun colored mushrooms, with slugs munching on them (first time I have observed that).
Hazy view today. A couple small groups enjoying the trail. |
