 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked at Pine Bend and hiked the Kanc to Sabaday trailhead. Plenty of parking at both at 8:30am. |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
Several challenging crossings on Sabaday Brook requiring boots-off, knee deep wades through fast water. Be careful. It may recede by the weekend if it doesn't rain more, but that doesn't seem to be the pattern. Pine Bend was no problem, easy rock hops. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Lots of water on the trail today with runoff from brook coming on to trail especially above 2000' elevation. A few blow downs, all easy to get around. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
One pup had come up and done Pine Bend just fine. |
 | Bugs: |
Essentially none. They must have all been washed away. |
 | Lost and Found: |

 | Comments: |
Sabaday Falls was impressive. No trail issues to get there. |
