40 years ago Piper Trail was very rough and difficult. Over the years rerouting and extensive trail work has resulted in one of the best constructed and maintained trails in the Whites. Those who reconstructed the trail and have kept it up deserve our thanks. Thanks to this work the trail has not suffered significant damage from the recent heavy rains. |
