SO MUCH WATER!!! Hadnt been across the street in a while so we ventured out at 4pm expecting wet, muddy trails and were greeted with such. Nat is always wet and yesterday was a raging stream entire way up to summit. Took AT down and it was just as bad with even more mud than Nat. Chatted with Chowder and Hot Cakes and four other through hikers on summit. Great to have some clear skies to hike in despite all the muck. |
