Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Nothing of note, but it's the season for seasonal streams. Two that are normally dry are nicely flowing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A fair of amount of new deadfall on the trail. A few brushy sections. A fair number (5? 6?) of blaze trees have fallen -- a few since we last used this trail a couple of months back. Three large (9-to-12-inch) blowdowns, two stepovers and one, at the start of the trail, that forces one around it, up a small slope, and that has a herd path developing around it. All have been there at least since last fall; all three can be taken out with an e-saw.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Some friendly deer flies and eye flies.

Comments
Comments: This is always a nice, quiet leg stretch in the Audubon Society's preserve in Hebron -- we never see anyone on this trail. Some really nice woods and water features. Plenty of red efts and indian pipe. A delight.
