Parking/Access Road Notes: The sign for Groveway on Durand Road tells hikers to park at the municipal building, just down the street. I was the only car there this morning.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: This is why I'm posting this hike - the crossings of Carlton Brook on Glenside and Diagonal are not crossable right now if you want your feet to stay dry. The water is high, it's moving fast, and the rocks are all under the water. If you didn't mind submerging your hiking boots, or used waders, you could maybe do the crossings if you were careful, but make sure you don't fall since there are cascades downstream. Much easier to just use the Nepalese bridge on Groveway and the bridge on Bee Line (which is what I did).
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blowdowns. All signs are in place except for the upper junction of Glenside at Diagonal, right next to Carlton Brook - there's a sign for Diagonal but none for Glenside. A little bit of mud on Glenside as it runs alongside Mossy Glen, and then Burnbrae Path between Diagonal and Bee Line was quite wet and muddy.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Should be fine, but watch out for them on the trails perched on the sides of Mossy Glen.
Bugs
Bugs: Out, but not too bad.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: Posting this mainly due to the crossings of Carlton Brook in Mossy Glen. The waterfalls are incredibly beautiful right now, but if you want to explore Mossy Glen, I strongly recommend crossing the brook only on the trails with bridges (Groveway and Bee Line) and not on the trails without bridges (Glenside and Diagonal). My route was to walk Durand Road from the parking lot next to the municipal office to the start of Groveway, which is signed. Then I took Groveway into Mossy Glen and crossed the Nepalese Bridge on it. Just after crossing the bridge, I turned left on Glenside and took it through Mossy Glen, passing some very nice waterfalls. Just where Glenside crosses the brook, I did a very short but steep bushwhack to the right up to Burnbrae Path. I followed Burnbrae Path gently uphill to Diagonal, where I went to see if its crossing was doable (it wasn't), so I continued on Burnbrae Path through a wet section up to Bee Line. I took a left on Bee Line down to the brook, crossed it on its bridge, and went to the junction with Diagonal, where I turned left back toward the brook. Just before Diagonal crosses the brook, I turned right on Glenside (the only trail without a sign), and then where it crosses the brook, I turned right on Bluffway and took it back down to Groveway, and then back to Durand Road. This loop is probably just over a mile, quite easy, and extremely scenic.
