Comments
Comments: Everything is wet. The mud was manageable enough for me even in trail runners - I only got a partially wet foot a couple of times - but the rocky portions on the upper half of Valley Way and especially heading up to the peak of Madison were slick and made for some very slow going. Peaks were surrounded by clouds, but leaving at 3:30 am got us up and back in time to avoid any serious rain and the risk of thunderstorms.
