Comments
Comments: Hot and humid but this is always a favorite. Given it was a Saturday I was surprised there weren't more people here. -
We aborted after Belknap as one of our party was insistent about completing before it rained - which it never did. - The views from Belknap tower as 12:15 pm were hazy with most of the Whites in the distance were obscured by clouds, so it was likely the same at Gunstock at that hour. First time on the Warden's (Green) trail which ambles along the power lines. Its slopes were just slick and steep enough to be slippery but it was an efficient route back to Upper Carriage Road for a walk down to the car.
