We took the herd path to avoid the first 2 crossings. The third crossing was quite manageable especially with water shoes. Other small water streams were easily managed by rock hopping |

 | Comments: |
While this is labeled as a moderate hike in “climbing the nh 48’s” I would suggest in the heat and humidity it is difficult ????
While most of the muddy areas were manageable, there is a section between north and south that you can expect lots of mid on your boots! Lovely hike and first 2 miles were spectacular before you got to the ascent. Coming back we enjoyed hanging out and washing up at the river crossing! |
