Comments
Comments: Up and down 7.2 miles via Starr King trail. Patchy snow and ice so start becoming greater with elevation up to 3 inches new snow along the ridge b/t Starr King and Waumbek. Very wet along the first mile or so. Although I was able to bareboot all day, light traction wouldn't have been a bad call. I just never felt it necessary to stop and apply the spikes, having poles for added stability.

Nice afternoon out, windy and socked in so Waumbek was a good call for the day. Saw 3 deer on my way down within .5 from the car.
