Comments
Comments: Things could get interesting once the temperatures drop overnight. Third time up Tecumseh in the past week, different conditions each time.

Took lower Mt. Tecumseh Trail to the abandoned section (to get around snowamking) to the ski trails to the ski trail vista. Trace of snow on the lower hiking trails with some breakable crust snow on the non-snowmaking (thus far) ski trail.

Back on the hiking trail, there was a layer of slush ice that was slowly setting up under about an inch of new snow. In the mild temperatures today, I was able to bareboot, though things were firming up during the descent (almost put on Microspikes).

All exposed rock above 3,000 feet is covered in a nasty glaze of black ice.

Nowhere near enough snow (1-2" at most) to warrant snowshoes. Microspikes would be a good idea for this trail tomorrow.
