A few black flies and an occasional deer fly, but generally not too bad. |

Trails were damp in places today from the monsoon weather and humidity. Nothing overly muddy on this route. Grass and weeds on the ski slopes are pretty tall, so the gravel access road is the way to go. They are now hosting weddings at the top of the new chairlift/access road, so attention is needed not to interrupt (particular if you have some pups with you).
Hazy (probably some wildfire smoke involved), humid day with temperatures in the upper 60s/lower 70s. Wild strawberries are ripe on the ski slopes. |
