Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Hale Brook Trail was fine, no issues. Lend-A-Hand Trail from Mount Hale all the way to Zealand Hut was mud and a solid stream on June 28 (Wednesday). I was able to make it without getting wet due to gaiters, waterproof shoes, and careful foot placement. It was raining for most of the afternoon so it may have cleared out a bit. Zealand Trail had two streams which weren’t passable without getting your feet wet, one I was in above the knee. The water probably went down a bit since then.

Bugs: Plenty of black flies on top of Hale. Big head net was necessary even for a five minute stop.

Comments
Comments: I hiked the Hale Brook, Lend-A-Hand, Zealand trail loop. It was pouring rain so very wet. No major issues other than water.
