Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Running higher than normal, but hoppable on wet rocks.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blowdowns, but the erosion, particularly above the top water crossing, is staggering. Rock staircases and waterbars continue to collapse. Long stretches of trail with water running down the middle unmitigated. Sad to see the continue deterioration of this trail.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Minimal due to weather.

Comments
Comments: Trail was wet this afternoon following the most recent deluge. The first third of the trail was generally damp, but things were increasingly wet as one ascended. Long stretches of the trail above crossing three were essentially mini brook beds.

Busy day afternoon on the trail. Cloudy/misty, but no active rain (it was raining in Franconia Notch).
