Comments
Comments: Packed snow through the woods, some drifting in the alpine fields on both approaches to Lafayette. Ridge was bare rock and light snow patches with occasional drifting (generally on the North sides of the peaks). Thick, slick ice near the falls on Falling Waters Trail, most of it is avoidable if you look around for the "breakable crust" ice or bare rocks.
