Comments
Comments: The trail through the treeline was mostly light snow; maybe 3-6 inches with a few deeper spots where the trees thin out. Snowshoes or light traction worked great. Once the trees started getting smaller, the snow started getting deeper with drifts blown into the trail between the smaller trees. Once all the trees disappear, the snow is patchy, with large drifts and deep spots between rocks. I wore snowshoes almost the entire length of the trip; although it was difficult in some of the rockier sections.
