Carriage Road gate still closed at 7am, open upon return at 11am. Small lot was full with three cars and several cars already parked along the road at 7am. |

Minimal flies, bug spray helped. No ticks, but I stayed carefully on the trail and avoided any long grasses. |

Trails are in excellent condition and easy to follow. Even after the rain the day before, the trails were dry. Beautiful hike with great views from each summit. |
