All blowdowns cleared very recently by a mighty hacker with a sharp axe, and a decent amount of drainage clearing done in 1st mile. |

A good trail for dogs. Left mine at home given the forecast as I did Cabot in the AM and she is a water wimp. |

Conditions ranged from downpour to sunshine. Lots of mostly avoidable puddles, particularly between Starr King and Waumbek. Expect significant mud for a while. Kudos to the trail maintainers...all blowdowns cleared...judging by the size of the chips by a strong person with a sharp axe! |
