Ground was frozen, so the going was fast. Put on microspikes about half way up and they made the going even faster. Met a couple at the top that came up Wildcat Ridge Trail from Pinkham Notch using an Ice Axe and Ropes at one point!! She was afraid to go down the Ski Slopes figuring they were too steep. They are not steep, they are awesome! Stay left going up and right going down (Polecat Trail). |
