Comments
Comments: Asquam Ridge Trail up to Mount Jim- a very pleasant trail with a surprisingly easy grade. Just areas of mud on this one, nothing significant. Connected up with Beaver Brook Trail where there was a bit more mud but not too bad. Snowing (but not accumulating) above about 3800ft today! Took the (unofficial?) spur to Mount Blue which was uneventful. The top of Moosilauke was in the clouds, windy and a surprising amount of snow coming down, I measured wind chill down to 20F at about 3pm. Took Gorge Brook Trail down, a bit muddier than the others but not terrible. Probably wouldn't have fun with sneakers. No remaining winter snow on the ground anywhere to be found.
