Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a few blowdowns that are in the way but no drama
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Copper was fine with this hike, a few pups on the trails, Emma and Baxter where very nice
Bugs: yes, a few but not biting
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: none
Comments: trails are in great shape, minimal snow, some not avoidable but no issue. I had not done Edmands in a while and was happy with my choice today. We looped around first and went up Eisenhower from the south side. Either way is fine but the views of Monroe and Washington beat those of Pierce and Jackson when coming down. The summit of Eisenhower was buzzing with wasps, very large ones, so be warned! Copper met Baxter at the summit, nice encounter and both were very friendly.
