Black flies were vexing at times and have arrived at the summit. |

Trails were mostly dry. The only evidence of snow remaining on the hiking trail was the Mt. Tecumseh summit loop (right at the crooked sign), which was minor. Still a few piles of snow on the ski trails, one of which (on the High Country) could last a few more weeks (more than 10 feet tall).
Warm, sunny day with temperatures hitting the upper 80s down low. Lots of folks out hiking. |
