The one section on Gorge Brook where the trail has been marked with blue paint to detour around the eroding back could use some scree, people were continuing straight through, it appeared to be out of confusion. |

Black flies swarming me at my vehicle but not a problem on the trail. Some bugs on snapper but nothing crazy. I forgot bug spay, only wore Cedarcide. |

Overall the trail is quite dry, there is a section on carriage rd which is mud/standing water but any other mud that you encounter is avoidable by stepping on rocks. Any remaining patches of ice are small and avoidable as well. All in all, just a beautiful day to be out. |
