Comments
Comments: Trails were fairly dry, apart from the usual muck in places on Bunnell Notch. Some very small patches of ice remaining below and above the cabin, generally only a few feet long and easily avoided. Lots of wildflowers in bloom, including early season (trillium and trout lily) and later season (lady slippers and strawberry flowers just starting to bloom).

Also bushwhacked over to the scree slopes for the first time in awhile. Black flies haven't arrived there yet, so it was quite enjoyable.

Beautiful summer-like day with clear skies and temperatures rising to the upper 70s down low.
