There are only very occasional blazes on the Tripyramid trail, but it wasn't hard to follow, except a few times between middle and south peaks: a lot of blowdowns, downed branches, pine needles and debris. |

Nice dry trail, great conditions. There was little bit of snow and ice here and there on the ridge portion of the trail, but nothing you'd need traction for. (And it may well be gone after the warm-up this weekend.) Saw a big pile of moose pellets near the middle peak. Pretty high up for a moose! Maybe they're working on getting all the 4000-footers. |
