Comments
Comments: Conditions: About 2" of snow in the parking lot to about 6+ inches on the ridge. Some ice mixed in with the snow in places. Up to Bald Peak Jct, it was wet and muddy in sections with minimal snow cover. The three stream crossings were easy. We put on Hillsounds, and Micro spikes just before the jct with the Kinsman Ridge trail. Except for them balling up, they worked fine. Snowshoes would not have worked well today, because of the exposed rocks, and not enough snow cover.

No wind with mild temps. We started to get some views on the way back. Great day out with Ed Hawkins, Steve Moore, Paul Siegel, Heather Hess and her dog Calie.
