4 cars at the Tripoli Rd trailhead around 10 am. 8-9 cars a few hours later. |

Tripoli rd is open and in very good, dry condition, as is Mt Tecumseh trail from Tripoli Rd. The early water crossings are easily hopped across. Some snow and ice starting at 3300 ft, but all was easily avoided or stable enough to walk on. I brought microspikes but never thought about using them...bring yours just in case.
Saw maybe a dozen people all day. Great way to get your spring legs under you. |
