Bugs
Bugs: Zillions of black flies. Recent trips to the range have resulted in many ticks, but I've only found one from today. So far.

Comments
Comments: A beautiful spring day for a double-loop over Belknap. The trails are totally dry; any mud is so minor it's barely worth mentioning. There's actually not too much to report in terms of conditions.

The trees continue to grow up on the summit of Belknap. Views are becoming more restricted from just below the cab of the fire tower. I hadn't been on Overlook Trail in several years and didn't remember it at all. Quite a beautiful and quiet route away from the more direct approaches to Gunstock.

Nice to *almost* meet Chris out there, and good to chat with Joe on Overlook Trail.
