 | Comments: |
Trails were dry and in good shape at lower elevation (under 3,100’). Soft, slippery snow between 3,100-4,000’ with post holes. Snow was firmer and easier to negotiate above 4,000’. The short section from the top of the North Carter trail to the North Carter summit was difficult due to tree limbs and trees, which frequently obscure the trail. Follow previous hiker tracks carefully. |
