Comments
Comments: No snow or ice up til 1700 ft elevation, but plenty of running water and mud. Shortly after bunell rock ran into a group of 5 people descending, most were wearing light traction. Sure enough ice and snow followed. Descent elevated monorail to cabin, the sections with direct sun were more unstable. Light traction ( we used rock spikes) were fine and were definitely needed for the descent.
Great weather day and reasonable conditions for the spring!
