Comments
Comments: Well, we had it out hoping for a better day on Cabot than a lot of the peaks right now. There is no new snow from the snowstorm that the Presi’s or the Carters have gotten. Therefore, there was some running water on trail, and some mud that we walked through, but it was about a little pond Once you got to the Killkenny Ridge Junction. There was some monorail patches but very insignificant around here which is about 3000 feet. But the monorail really didn’t start until about 3500 feet which it was not very high of a monorail compare to other areas I would say 1 to 2 feet. We got to the cabin and there was maybe up to 3 feet of snow in that area and then we walked up to the summit With spikes on came back down took off the spikes where we had put them on. I expect this trail to be clear free of snow within a week max two. A very enjoyable may day out.
