Comments
Comments: There is some snow and ice on the trail starting at around 3,000 ft, was unstable in the afternoon. Ground was bare near Glenn Boulder. At around 4,300 ft the snow is approximately 4ft deep, the trail is difficult to follow, and it is tough to get through the trees.I was so scratched up by the trees, it looked like i had tried to bathe a cat. In the area below the intersection with the Davis path near Gulf peak the snow is still a few feet deep and soft. After five difficult hours of hiking, we decided to turn back just below the intersection with the Davis Path. I would not recommend this route until the snow is gone.
