| Comments: |
A great spring hike. Not enough mud or running water to even note. Monorail begins at about 1.5 miles in and could be barebooted or could use micros, whichever one is more comfortable with since the snow is softening but still grippy enough. Minor postholing begins right before treeline but is mostly avoidable. In this section, spikes are the right choice. No snow or ice above treeline, all melted since last weekend. |
