| Comments: |
Gale River Road and subsequent trails were unbroken. 2 feet of light powder starting at US 3, increasing to 3 feet up high, with drifts up to 5 feet. Despite a total of 6 of us going out and back, trail is still not too well packed, due to light nature of the snow. Trail was already starting to fill in with new snow and drifts as we descended. Scrambles on Garfield Ridge Trail are filled in with snow. Summit area is icy, but there is powder to work with. |
