Comments
Comments: The unusually warm-and-dry November weather has left the trails in an awkward state: not enough snow-and-ice to enable MicroSpikes, but enough scattered patches of hidden ice to guarantee a slip sooner or later. The rough rocky trail, especially on the higher Jackson Branch, was more difficult to negotiate than in either dry summer conditions or fully-snow-covered winter conditions.
