Comments
Comments: Barebooted from the Dodge cutoff to approx. 2 miles up. Trail became a river with rotting snow bridges/monorail. Put on the rock spikes until the junction of North Carter, then shoes up to Middle. With the recent rain/freeze, then the snow that was falling, the upper section of NC and then C-M were draped with heavy ice-laden spruce. It was a dance to get around and through. I'd bring the shoes for at least the next week if you need Middle. In other news, that was #476 for the Grid - only 100 to go!
