Comments
Comments: Mix bag of spring conditions. A couple minor patches of ice on Hi-Cannon before Dodge cut off. Consistent ice and snow after dodge cut-off. Lots of alternating bare ground and patches of snow and ice up until a little before the KRT junction. I swapped from spikes on to spikes off quite a few times. The ladder is free of ice and snow. The monorail once you hit the ridge was solid and made for fast hiking in spikes. The trees were coated in thick ice after Sunday’s weather. Got pretty wet from tree limbs hanging in the trail and ice melting off and raining down on the trail. Got a few decent views down into the notch from the ledges before climbing up into the clouds. Overall a great day!
