Comments
Comments: Spikes went in about a mile in and stayed on for the rest of the hike. Steep and Icy up to Avalon and Field - monorail pretty stable. From Field to Willey monorail got narrower. Balance beam and unstable - esp as you got closer to Willy. Field to Tom pretty stable and well packed. A-Z trail down very slipper and slush snow. Snowshoes could have been helpful in some places but hazardous in others. Did fine in spikes. It was a post hole land mine everywhere. My pup did great and was a rockstar per usual (athletic lab/hound mix for reference)
