| | | | Comments: | I'll preface by saying I had Yaktrax instead of icespikes and they didn't cut it. I started bare booting for the first 1/4 mile, switched to Yaks for a bit but needed to go to snowshoes for any traction. Everyone I met had spikes and had no trouble. The last quarter mile was exposed rocks and monorail so I switched back to bare boots and had no problems. Because of the need to switch so much, I decided to take the ski trail down. I used snowshoes for the first 1/3 then barebooted the rest of the way. It was a breeze. | | | | | Name: | Doug | | | | | E-Mail: | k1rdd@duck.com | | | | | Date Submitted: | 2023-04-22 | | | | | Link: | https:// | | | | Disclaimer: Reports are not verified - conditions may vary.
