| Comments: |
Barebooted all day (carried snowshoes). Imp and North Carter were still in ok shape. Carter Moriah coming down South Carter started the postholes and unstable monorail as day got warm and sunny. However Carter Dome trail coming down was the WORST with a very very skinny unstable monorail and lots of postholes. 19 mile towards the end was bare. Spring hiking is not for the faint of heart! However, it was sunny and wore a tshirt the whole day and had beautiful views of the Presidentials from Middle Carter and Carter Dome. |
